The Injured Jockeys Fund is the nationally renowned charity supporting current and former jockeys. 2019 will be a special year for us, as we are due to open our brand new rehabilitation and fitness centre, Peter O’Sullevan House, on the outskirts of Newmarket this summer. This new purpose-built centre will also house our Head Office administrative functions and with this in mind, we are recruiting for two positions.

Management Accountant

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to join our finance team as a Management Accountant. The responsibilities of this key role will include: production of monthly management accounts; bank and balance sheet reconciliations; fixed assets; authorisation of payments; assisting with on-going development of procedures and systems. As a relatively small team, a willingness to multi-task and work with colleagues outside the immediate finance team will be vital and as such, we would value other office skills which you may bring to the role. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (particularly Excel) is essential, along with use of standard accounting packages. A salary circa £32,000 p.a. is offered depending on experience. Annual leave 22 days.
