Nick Alexander is looking to recruit a enthusiastic and ambitious individual to fill the role of Pupil Assistant. This is a flexible role assisting the trainer in training the horses, organising the team of staff and communicating with owners.
It will involve a combination of riding out, helping in the office with staff rotas, daily worksheets, race planning, farrier and veterinary liaison. You may be required to represent the trainer at the races.
Hours – 7am until 1pm and 3.30pm until 5.30pm five days per week, plus one five hour Sunday in four.
Remuneration – dependant on experience.
Holidays – 32 days paid holiday per annum.
