We have a fantastic opportunity for a Customer Relations Executive to join us working across our Huntingdon/Nottingham Racecourses to proactively handle all aspects of the Region’s customer relations, including the sales and delivery of memberships, group ticket sales and cover for the racecourse receptions.

Role Summary

Overseeing the sales and delivery of memberships and tickets, the successful incumbent will be the point of contact for the racecourse, dealing with the administration and processing of all memberships.

The successful candidate will have highly developed communication, organizational and presentation skills, with extensive knowledge of all Microsoft packages. They will have a proven record of negotiation and persuasion skills and have strong experience of working in an administrative, or customer services environment.

The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

managing customer enquiries across all stakeholders providing a high standard of customer care and support
overseeing and managing the racecourses Annual Badge Holders, promoting packages, producing literature and ordering of collateral
working all racedays throughout the year with responsibilities including customer liaison, owners experience and operational duties
assisting with the preparation and delivery of both racing and non-racing events, ensuring all administration duties are undertaken
proactively sourcing new ‘groups’ locally and nationwide to book tickets for race days, whilst working closely with the marketing team on specific promotions
carrying out essential office duties including stationary ordering, franking responsibilities, petty cash and purchase ordering

Travel within the Region will be required so it is essential that the successful candidate holds a full driving licence and has access to a vehicle.

This role will also involve working some evenings and weekends to support racing, conferencing and events as and when required.
