Description:

The Northern Racing College seeks to employ a Regional Staff Development Programme (RSDP) Coordinator for the Malton area and covering the east of England from the Wash to the Borders. This position is supported by the Racing Foundation and will allow the expansion of the British Horseracing Authority’s RSDP to Malton and beyond.

Candidates for this interesting, challenging role, must have excellent written, verbal and presentation skills. The role requires a Level 3 Diploma in Racehorse Care and Management, knowledge of and contacts within the racing industry and the Malton area. Experience of initiating and maintaining relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders including the BHA, employers, racing staff and coaching/racing experts is essential.

Hours of work: 8-per week, we are prepared to be flexible on how this is worked. Ideally the successful candidate will be based in Malton.

The salary is £5,033.60 per annum with a contributory pension scheme, an initial pro-rata holiday entitlement of 25 days, plus pro-rata Bank Holidays and free membership of our Westfield Health Foresight Plan.
