Description:

David O'Meara Racing is looking for a travelling person/work rider to join our busy expanding team in Upper Helmsley, North Yorkshire. A competent driver with a clean driver’s licence and experience travelling horses is essential. An honest, reliable and trustworthy person is crucial as they will be trusted to take sole charge on race days.

Previous experience working with racehorses is required as the candidate will work on the yard/ride when not racing. The ability to ride out is preferred but not essential. 

At David O'Meara Racing our general days when drivers are not racing are extremely attractive with most employees working 7.00am to 3.30pm with a breakfast and lunch break.

Excellent wages, pension and overtime/racing expenses.
