Description:

The Injured Jockeys Fund is delighted to announce the opening of its brand new and purpose built Rehabilitation Centre in Newmarket, the historic home of racing.  To fully-skill this new centre, we seek a professional team to work for this respected charity. 

The following position is advertised on a full-time permanent basis, working on a variable roster to ensure Centre accessibility from 0800 until 2000 hours, Monday to Friday. There may be occasional weekend working.

This is an exciting opportunity for a full time Rehabilitation Therapist to join the Injured Jockeys Fund at their latest rehabilitation centre at Peter O’Sullevan House in Newmarket.

As part of a small, dynamic, multi-disciplinary team you will be working with jockeys and other elite sports men and women delivering, amongst other things, comprehensive periodised rehabilitation and conditioning programmes to groups and individuals, completing screening/profiling and fitness testing and functional assessments, to provide therapeutic interventions to complement recovery and well-being.

Accreditation to either BASRaT or UKSCA would be required for this role, with a minimum of three years post-graduate experience. Salary £25,000 to £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
