We have a fantastic opportunity for a Nominations Executive to join our Sales and Nominations Team at The National Stud. 
About The National Stud:  Part of The Jockey Club Group, The National Stud has been an integral part of the British thoroughbred industry for over 100 years. Alongside our breeding services we also offer specialist training for stud staff and public tours. Our Objectives are simple:

The Nominations Executive will:

•Support the Sales and Nominations Manager in the delivery of the annual sales plan and achieving the annual nominations sales targets.

•Co-ordinate, upload and distribute client communications for all horses onsite throughout the year.

•Keep up to date with technology and communication techniques to ensure the stud is delivering in an efficient and timely manner.

•Inspect relevant bloodstock at sales and provide inspection reports to CEO, Head of Bloodstock and Sales and Nominations Manager.

•Maintain a comprehensive CRM database of existing and prospective clients.

•Hosting of visitors and clients throughout the year and assisting with the co-ordination and hosting of the Stud’s hospitality areas during the sales season.

•Assist Bloodstock and Sales Administrator with collation of cover paperwork during the breeding season.

•Cultivate and maintain excellent relationships with the Stud’s clients and ensure they always experience the highest level of communication and service.

About you

•Strong knowledge of all areas of the Thoroughbred racing and breeding industry including all current National Stud stallions, their profile and position within the market.

•Comprehensive understanding of all thoroughbred sales to include specific knowledge on each sale, its requirements and market trends.

•At least 1-2 years’ experience working in a stud farm with a strong understanding of breeding processes and procedures including breeding regulations as set out by NSFA.

•Experience in inspecting horses and recording physical attributes.

•An Excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills to maintain and develop clients as well as work with a wide range of stakeholders.

•Able to work on all Microsoft programs effectively and efficiently with a particular focus on Microsoft Excel and large databases.
