The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) is the governing and regulatory body for horseracing in Great Britain. It is the BHA’s role to act for and on behalf of the whole sport, with a key objective being to ensure the highest standards apply on and away from the racecourse.
Reporting to the Racing Project Manager, this role will provide analytical support to the BHA Racing Team. This will entail undertaking analysis specific to British Racing’s fixture list and race programme and will utilise your analytical skills and knowledge and understanding of British Racing.
In order to be successful in this role you will need to be able to evidence strong capability to use analytical software including Microsoft Excel and SQL. A keen interest in horse racing will also be invaluable in this role given the need to understand and interpret data produced and communicate it effectively to stakeholders.
Through strong communication skills, and with an instinctive, passionate, customer service ethos, this high-profile role will require you to consult with and present regularly to senior members of the BHA team and representatives of stakeholder bodies.
