A Communications Assistant is required to support the Marketing Manager with running the IJF social media accounts and updating the website along with producing newsletters and assisting with fundraising. Additionally the role involves responding to donors in writing and assisting the Office Manager with general administrative tasks such as filing. This vacancy is a part time one, ideally working at Peter O’Sullevan House in Newmarket from 1pm to 5pm Monday to Friday.
Confident letter writing skills are essential for the role, therefore candidates must have attained GCSE English at grade C (Level 4) or equivalent as a minimum. As the IJF handles sensitive personal information, discretion and full compliance with data protection rules is essential. A good telephone manner is required and experience of editing websites and hosting social media accounts are desirable.
