Description:

C&C Horse Transport Ltd are looking to recruit an experienced Transport Planner for their family-owned business, based in Stokesley. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to the below duties: 

• Day to day planning/routing and running of the vehicles and drivers, operating Nationally and Internationally.

• Providing first class customer service when liaising with customers and suppliers.

• Preparing and processing relevant paperwork.

• Ensure company compliance of all transport policies, legislation and procedures relating to Tachographs, Drivers’ Hours Rules, WTD & RTD.

• Scheduling vehicle maintenance and repairs.

• Calculating customer quotes.

• Monitoring employee hours and providing information for wages process.

• Complying with Health and Safety and Legal requirements. 

Skills required: 

• Knowledge of transport regulations

• Transport planner experience is a preferred essential 

• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

• Confident IT skills with Microsoft Office Excel, Outlook, Word.

• Strong organisational and time management skills.

• Sound geographical knowledge of the UK.

• Ability to motivate team members and provide leadership skills and support.

• Experience & interest in the equine industry is required 

• HGV Licence & CPC qualification would be an advantage. 

Full-time and permanent employment, Monday to Friday office based with some out-of-hours phone cover. 

Salary depending on experience.
