Keith Mercer

Keith rode as a professional Jump jockey for eight years from 2004 to 2012. He rode 195 winners including the 2005 Scottish Grand National on Joe's Edge and the 2005  Grade 1 Champion Stayers Hurdle at the Punchestown Festival on Carlys Quest. During his riding career, he developed an interest in property and finance and decided to develop these interests when he had to retire from riding due to injury.

Enrolment on a three year Finance & Accountancy Degree at Teeside University starting in September 2013.

I may need the support of the charity, and its contacts, in order to obtain suitable internships and work placements as my studies progress.”
